Vendor Transition Support
TO Live needed to replace IBM as the vendor managing their website after facing slow, costly support and a site that wasn't ready to launch. Ollon stepped in, inspected the code, and found the site's CSS was not responsive across device sizes and types, the main issue blocking launch. Ollon rebuilt the CSS to be responsive, addressed the other key issues holding up launch, and took over the site's CMS and backend infrastructure, including integrations with Ticketmaster and the campaign platform. What started as a vendor replacement turned into an ongoing partnership that has continued for years since.
Web Application Development
After TO Live's website launched, development work continued to keep pace with the needs of its arts and entertainment audience, including a long list of feature enhancements. Ollon redeveloped the site's search components, which had been loading indefinitely without returning results, and fixed broken filters along with mobile navigation problems. That work addressed the underlying usability problems directly, not just the most visible symptoms. The site now supports TO Live's public programming with the functionality its audience actually needs.
WiFi Integration System
TO Live wanted to collect data on customers during live events and deliver personalized content, but had no way to connect with attendees once they were inside the venue. Ollon implemented single sign on wifi integration that let customers log in during events, collaborating with the hardware vendor that managed the venues' wifi to get the systems deployed onsite. That integration let TO Live gather data on attendees and deliver personalized content during the event itself, not just through channels reachable outside the venue. Customers now get a connected experience whether they are engaging virtually or attending in person.
Website Analytics and SEO
TO Live needed its website to be found by the public searching for arts and entertainment programming, on top of fixing the functional problems the site already had. Ollon improved page load speed and Core Web Vitals scores, fixed mobile responsiveness issues affecting how pages rendered on phones, cleaned up title tags and meta descriptions across pages, corrected URL structures and redirect handling, and reworked the site's heading structure into a proper hierarchy from H1 through H6. That work supported TO Live's broader goal of getting information about its programs in front of the community searching for it.
Headless CMS Architecture
TO Live's content team needed to manage a growing range of programs and content types through their Contentful CMS, but the editing experience wasn't keeping pace with what they needed to publish. Ollon built enhancements to the Contentful editor experience, making it easier for TO Live's team to manage content across the site without needing developer support for routine updates. That work let TO Live's own staff handle day to day content needs directly, without routing every change through a developer.
Cross-browser and device compatibility testing
TO Live's website needed to display correctly across the range of devices its audience used, and problems kept surfacing that only showed up on certain layouts. Ollon reworked the mobile display for event cards so they scrolled in a row instead of stacking awkwardly on smaller screens, then worked through an ongoing QA cycle with TO Live's own reviewer, fixing device specific bugs like inconsistent event tile ordering and content that displayed incorrectly on certain pages. That feedback loop caught problems a single round of testing would have missed, since new issues kept appearing as the site's content changed. The result is a site TO Live's team can trust to display correctly across devices.
